Bottega will showcase its Prosecco Premium Vintage Collection, including Bottega Gold Diamond, at the upcoming IAADFS-organised Summit of the Americas (8-11 March).
Visitors can explore the Italian winemaker’s premium Prosecco range at booth 700 in the InterContinental Miami, Florida.
The Prosecco Premium Vintage Collection is a new addition to Bottega’s portfolio, produced with a focus on quality ingredients.
Glera grapes are sourced from selected parcels within the UNESCO Heritage Hills, cultivated sustainably and harvested by hand at peak ripeness.
The production process includes pre-fermentation cryomaceration to preserve the grapes’ characteristics and maturation in horizontal autoclaves developed through oenological research.
Fermentation lasts up to 12 months, which is longer than the typical one month for Prosecco, resulting in wines with distinct profiles shaped by terroir.
Priced at up to €250 per bottle, the collection targets the high-end sparkling wine market, positioning itself alongside metodo classico wines and French Champagnes.
Bottega Gold Diamond is a Prosecco DOC Extra Brut and the latest addition to the Prosecco Premium Vintage Collection, a project Bottega has been developing for over a decade.
This vintage 2022 sparkling wine is made from grapes sourced from a single vineyard and produced using Bottega’s method, which includes an extended fermentation period of at least nine months in horizontal autoclaves.
The wine features a persistent perlage with a bouquet of apple, pear, bread crust and subtle herbal notes of sage and marjoram.
The bottle design includes a mirrored finish and is decorated with crystals spelling out the Bottega brand.
