Fox News take on Ethel Cain after “Kill More CEOs” Instagram post

Looks like Fox News isn’t having a Perverts winter. The always-politically outspoken Ethel Cain‘s recent #KillMoreCEOs Instagram story became the subject of a recent segment on The Big Weekend Show, in which host Anita Vogel says, “A popular singer among Gen Z is hitting all the wrong notes after calling for mass killings of CEOs.”

Co-host Jason Chaffetz then adds, “Singer Ethel Cain is facing major backlash for calling on more corporate executives to be assassinated after the execution-style murder of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson. The 26-year-old entertainer, if you can call her that, shared a post by former Labor Secretary Robert Reich calling money and politics ‘the root of our dysfunction,’ while adding her own, quote, ‘#KillMoreCEOs’ hashtag to the post.”

“This comes as a recent poll shows college students and Gen Z sympathize more with the suspect,” he adds, “and find Thompson’s murder acceptable.”

Then the four hosts go on to discuss together. Jackie DeAngelis says, “I don’t know who that singer is and I’m not familiar with their work.”

“Don’t bother looking her up, I had to,” Jason says later, “but she’s got about 3 million listeners per month on Spotify. She does have an audience and I hope she gets called out for this.”

“People need to boycott her,” Jackie adds.
