Lil Baby has revealed that he has a joint mixtape on the way with Future and Young Thug.
Last week, saw the release of the collab ‘Dum, Dumb and Dumber’ between the Atlanta rapper and the trap veterans from his new album, ‘WHAM‘. The song featured Thug’s first verse since he was released from prison back in October and quickly became a fan favourite.
In a new episode of Spotify’s A Day in the Life series, Baby revealed that there are a lot more collaborations between the trio on the way. “Me and Future were working on a joint tape. We damn near got the joint tape done,” he shared. “And now Slime [Young Thug] came home, you know he ain’t goin’ for that. He was like ‘Shit.'”
He continued: “It was actually Thug’s idea. When he was in jail, he was like, ‘Aye, call Pluto [Future]. I want y’all to do a tape together.’ He damn near named the tape and everything — this was before he got out.
“Now that he got out, he’s like, ‘I’m on on the tape.’ We might have something big in store on that. I don’t know exactly [what it’ll be] but it’s in the works. We have so many songs. Thug is a lab rat: all he do is stay in the studio. We’ve already made 10 songs together.”
