Natasha Zinko Pre-Fall 2025 Explores the Culture's Obsession With Cosmetic Surgery

Natasha Zinko has unveiled a playful follow-up to her Spring 2025 collection. The Ukranian designer continues to place contemporary beauty standards under a microscope, examining the perfection-chasing culture of aesthetic surgery. As a nod to the present day obsession with plastic surgery, Zinko's latest collection dresses models in a series of multi-layered outfits. They are seen all wrapped up and not just due to the the anticipation of cooler autumn weather. Dressed in loose-fitting silhouettes that still maintain Zinko's signature apocalyptic energy, the collection is all about the "after-care look" one wears to disguise themselves pre- and post-cosmetic surgery. Zinko's collection is a commentary on society's need to make secretive trips to the beauty clinic for aesthetic adjustments, yet the demand for perfection can only be obtained by visiting such clinics. With models wrapped from head to toe and draped in oversized attires, audiences see the pre-fall looks featuring loose, but comfortable silhouettes that allow movement, especially important for post-op. Models are seen wearing silk scarves over their eyes, alongside other pieces that are styled in an unpretentious manner. The collection focuses on the silhouette of the pieces, leaving much of the body covered so to allow for the garments to speak out most.Box-cut looks are seen in oversized blazers that seem to merge the aesthetic of a lab coat with a hospital gown, while the latter look is communicated via the back-tied t-shirt dresses. Taking further inspiration from the motifs of a doctor's clinic, long scarves featuring glove-like fingers from the edges and front pockets on cotton shirts similar to that found on a medical lab coat are highlighted details from the collection. Other pieces include ultra-wide leg denim jeans, relaxed-fit trousers, patchwork skirts and dresses and business-like blazers in a muted color scheme for a quick dash to the clinic in the work day. Zinko also brought back her signature boxer brief underpants worn by famous stars like Charli XCX and BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim in the past.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
