Eurobound is entering 2025 with a new French destination and a new web site. The latest destination is Occitanie, the southernmost part of France, stretching from the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees mountains.
A new, 10-day, 9-night, land package offers a choice of customizable hotels and activities to one of France’s most vibrant regions. “The Wonder of Occitanie France” begins in Nimes and ends in Lourdes. Included are 2 nights in Nimes, an overnight in Montpellier, and 3 nights each in Toulouse and Lourdes.
The basic package features accommodations in four- and five-star hotels or chateaux, first-class rail with transfers in Nimes and Montpellier, and a private transfer from Montpellier to Toulouse with a stop in Carcassonne for lunch and sightseeing. Private half-day walking tours In Toulouse and Albi introduce guests to both cities.
Flexible Choices
In addition to the included private walking tours, Eurobound travelers have the option to choose from independent or privately guided excursions. For instance, from Nimes, a day trip visits the resort area of Le Grau du Roi, with its canals and waterways, plus nearby Aigues-Mortes, one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in France. Eurobound guests can visit on their own or select a private tour.
Similarly, Eurobound guests can complement their walking tour of Toulouse with an optional river cruise on the Canal du Midi, a visit to Maison de la Violette, or the Airbus factory and Aerospace Museum.
Likewise, guests can travel from Lourdes to the Pyrenees Mountains on their own self-guided basis via a local bus, or have Eurobound arrange private excursions to the Pic du Midi at nearly 9,000 feet, and to scenic Gavarnie nature reserve for hiking or sightseeing.
Package price varies based on style of selected hotels and on optional, customizable tours and activities.
Step-by-Step Booking Guide
Eurobound’s new web site helps travel advisors create tailor-made European trips for their clients, according to Jeff Roy, the company’s vice president, Marketing & Sales. A destination section features “can’t-miss” sights, experiences, and cultural landmarks in each country. For inspiration, the company’s e-mailings containing itinerary suggestions are archived and searchable by destination. A step-by-step booking guide assists travel advisors new to Eurobound in designing their own custom itinerary based on the client’s interest and budget.
