A fourth season of Apple TV+ series “Ted Lasso” has not yet been confirmed, but hints about it are continuing to gain traction.
Nick Mohammed, who plays assistant coach Nate Shelley in the series and served as something of an antagonist last season, has sparked online chatter about the show’s potential return in the past few days.
On Thursday, Mohammed posted a video on X saying that some of the dates for his live “Show Pony” tour had to be rescheduled saying:
“I know there’ll be a lot of speculation as to why I moved these dates … I’ll be honest, it is for some filming that I’ve not been able to shift.”
In addition, he briefly held up a sign that read ‘BELIEVE’ – a distinct reference to a sign in “Ted Lasso” that tied to his character in the third season.
Mohammed scored two Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on the show as an outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.
In August last year came talk that a fourth season was heading towards a greenlight with Warner Bros. Television picking up options on actors like Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift.
