Nike's '90s Cross-Trainer Came In Hot. Now, It's a Stone-Cold Stunner

These days, it's safe to assume that once a major collaborator brings back a particular sneaker, it's so back afterward. In 2022, Supreme dropped a Nike Shox Ride 2 collab, only for Nike to fully revive the techy early 2000s model two years later. Corteiz lent its magical hyped touch to the Nike Air Trainer Huarache sneaker, resulting in three sought-after colorways of the '90s trainer.
Guess what? Nike's now officially resurrecting the Air Trainer Huarache through some tasteful general release color schemes.

Nike's reborn Air Trainer Huarache recently appeared in a tonal pastel blue colorway called "Blue Tint," giving the rugged sneaker this soft, icy blue monochromatic look. Nice.
Outside of the new beautiful paint job — or blue-tiful, I should say — the Nike Air Huarache maintains much of Tinker Hatfield's OG design details. Most notably, the cross-training model is still a nice 'ol hug for the foot, thanks to the cushy neoprene inner bootie and signature branded midfoot strap.
Then, there's the mention of Nike Air in the name, promising even more plush cushioning for the foot.
The Air Trainer Huarache offers up plenty of smooth textures throughout, plus some see-through mesh on the strap, which the delicate blue shade flawlessly highlights.
It may have been a training model in its past life. But today, the sneaker looks to cover all stylish grounds. And after enjoying pony hair takes and grey spins by Corteiz, the Nike Air Trainer Huarache is finally ready to step into the spotlight on its own.
The "Blue Tint" pairs are anticipated to release in the springtime alongside another tonal "Sail" colorway. What a perfect time for pastel Huaraches.
Given Nike's track record of repeating history (and iconic colorways), I wouldn't be surprised if the brand also brought back a couple of classic '90s schemes for the Huarache. Only time will tell, of course.
