Watch Ringo Starr joined by Jack White, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris & more in Nashville
Ringo played Beatles classics, Ringo classics, covers, and some songs from his new country album with a little help from his friends.
Ringo Starr‘s new country album Look Up is out now, and as mentioned, he’s keeping the momentum going with a concert special, Ringo and Friends at the Ryman, that was taped at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium this week and set to air on CBS and Paramount+ this spring. The star-studded special found the former Beatle getting a little help from Jack White, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, Mickey Guyton, Larkin Poe, Rodney Crowell, Brenda Lee, Molly Tuttle, Jamey Johnson, and The War And Treaty.
While you’ll have to wait to see the pro-shot concert special, fan-shot footage has surfaced. Ringo and Jack White opened the show with “Matchbox” (a Carl Perkins cover that both The Beatles and Ringo have recordings of), and Ringo went on to play a mix of Beatles classics, Ringo solo classics, other covers, and a few Look Up songs, with guests rotating in and out throughout the night. He ended with “With A Little Help From My Friends” with the whole group up there at once.

Ringo was also one of the many musicians to pay tribute to David Lynch today.
