Central Tiffin Room brings ‘taste of nostalgia’ to Kempegowda International Airport
The restaurant’s opening at Kempegowda enables travellers to savour the authentic flavours of Bengaluru before their trips, offering signature dishes such as the Benne Masala Dosa.
INDIA. Central Tiffin Room (CTR) has opened its doors in Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2.
CTR offers a variety of traditional South Indian dishes, including idlis, vadas and filter coffee, catering to breakfast and lunch diners. It is known for its Benne Masala Dosa – a crisp buttery spiced potato sagu dish accompanied by a red chilli and coconut chutney.
Commenting on the opening via LinkedIn, VTP Lounge Hospitality CEO Pavan P G said: “As Bengaluru continues to grow as a hub for technology, culture and global connections, we are excited to bring this beloved brand to Kempegowda International Airport, a true reflection of the city’s progress.

Founded in 1920 by the Subramanyam brothers, CTR has been a cornerstone of Bengaluru’s culinary heritage for over a century. Now managed by third-generation custodians Sandesh S. Poojari and Ganesh S. Poojari, the company continues to uphold its commitment to quality and tradition.
Over the years, CTR has garnered a loyal following, counting political figures and celebrities such as Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli and Deepika Padukone among its patrons.
