Composer Bear McCreary (‘Walking Dead,’ ‘God of War’) announces ‘Themes & Variations’ tour
Bear McCreary will play his best-known soundtrack themes on tour this spring.
Composer Bear McCreary, who has done the scores for The Walking Dead, God of War, Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Battlestar Galactica, Outlander, and more, has announced the “Themes & Variations” tour, where he’ll perform his most famous soundtrack work against scenes from the series, video games, and films, as well as music from his debut studio album, The Singularity. US dates are in May and listed below.
“After celebrating the twentieth anniversary of my first screen credit, for composing the music to 2004’s Battlestar Galactica, along with the release of my debut rock record, The Singularity, the time has finally come to take my music on the road,” says Bear. “I am thrilled to perform highlights from throughout my career and visit some of my favorite cities in the world. I look forward to connecting with fans and bringing my music to bombastic life on the concert stage. Let’s go!”
The NYC stop on the tour happens May 22 at Gramercy Theatre and tickets for all US dates go on sale Friday, January 17 at 10 AM local time.
