Netflix has officially dropped the premiere date for the fifth and final season of You. Starring Penn Badgley as the titular Joe Goldberg, You is slated to return this spring on the streamer.According to Netflix, the official description of the final episodes reveal, "n the epic fifth and final season, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) returns to New York to enjoy his happily ever after… until his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires." Alongside the official premiere date, Netflix also dropped a short teaser clips taking audiences back to Mooney's bookstore where Joe seems to reminisce about everything that has led to this point, "Here we are, together again, back to where it began," Joe said. He adds, "And the one constant, the one thing that has always been there for me is you."Netflix announced in March 2023 that You would end in its fifth season and that series executive producers Michael Foley and Justin Lo would be taking over as showrunners for the final episodes. Sera Gamble remains as an executive producer. Starring alongside Badgley are Charlotte Richie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp, and Griffin Matthews.
