New Chase MyBonus Offers For Grocery, Gas & Restaurant January 15 – March 31, 2025

Chase cardholders are usually eligible for two kinds of promotions: Chase offers that appear in their online accounts (read more here) and MyBonus offers that can be checked on the dedicated web page.

Two of my cobranded cards (Hyatt & IHG) were eligible for bonus points for swiping them at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants between January 15 and March 31, 2025.

These offers are basically for the same categories and the same maximum spend of $1,000. I only use these two cards for hotel stays at Hyatt and IHG properties and nothing else (there are far better options for other charges).

World of Hyatt:

Earn 5 Bonus Points Total At Grocery Stores, Gas Stations And Restaurants: To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 03/31/25 11:59 p.m. E.T. You will earn 5 Bonus Points total for each $1 spent in the grocery stores, gas stations, and dining at restaurants categories on up to $1,000 in total combined purchases from 01/15/2025 to 03/31/2025. Total Bonus Points shown is the maximum you will earn on those purchases during the promotion, regardless of what you already earn on those purchases in your rewards program. Conclusion

You can value Hyatt points at 1.5 US cents each and IHG ones at 0.5 US cents each.

The Hyatt offer of 5 points per USD for these charges is good (7.5% cashback in the form of Hyatt points), while the IHG one is soso (3.5% cashback in IHG points), but might work in some instances.

I will use the Hyatt card for $1K in eligible non-hotel spending to get the 5K points, but the IHG one is probably too much hassle for not much.
