Chase last week announced its updated Sapphire Reserve Card and a brand-new Sapphire Reserve Business.

The sign-up offers for both products went live this morning, and enhanced benefits and earning multiples for new cardmembers are in place from today.

Chase Sapphire Reserve $795 Yearly Fee

You can earn 100,000 bonus points and a $500 Chase Travel promotional credit for spending $5,000 within 3 months of account opening.

Rewards Earning Structure:

8X points on purchases through Chase Travel

4X points on flights and hotels booked directly

3X points on dining worldwide

1X points on all other purchases

Travel Credits

$300 annual travel credit for eligible travel purchases.

$500 credit for stays with The Edit hotels (up to $250 in each half of the year).

The card comes with many other “lifestyle” credits + Priority Pass.

You can earn 200,000 bonus points for spending $30,000 within 6 months of account opening.

Conclusion

I have played around with the Case Travel today to see which airlines and hotels this new Points Boost applies to and how good deals these Edit hotels are, and I will write about my findings tomorrow.

The business card sign-up bonus is great, but requires $30K spending in six months.

The personal one comes with 100K points + a $500 promotional Chase Travel credit if you swipe it for $5,000 in three months.
