More Scrapped “Batman: Arkham” Concept Art

Back in the mid 2010s, WB Games Montreal was working on a fifth entry in the “Batman: Arkham” game series following their prior work on the prequel-set third entry “Batman: Arkham Origins”.

The game, which was set a decade after the events of “Batman: Arkham Knight,” would’ve seen the player take on the role of Damian Wayne who has recently donned the mantle of Batman and fights crime in a rundown Gotham City.

The city has fallen on hard times due to increased crime, economic recession, and the lack of Bruce Wayne’s financial contributions to the city. Blending old and new villains and characters, it would’ve also used Monolith’s Nemesis system for the goons you would have to fight.

Going by the working title ‘Project Sabbath’, the game was ultimately scuttled in development with ideas and elements subsequently used in “Gotham Knights” and to a lesser extent “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”.

Now, more concept art from the game has emerged with the art today offering a good look at the game’s version of Damian Wayne. The art also shows off an older Bruce, Killer Croc, Huntress, and possibly Dollmaker.

It follows on from art released several years ago, which saw a fully suited Damian Wayne sporting an outfit very akin to that used in “Batman Beyond”.
