Physical Editions Now Available for ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit’ [Trailer]

After launching last year onto Steam and digitally onto PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch, developer Mega Cat Studios has teamed with iam8bit to bring physical editions of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit to consoles. Available now via iam8bit’s website, fans can purchase the physical retail edition and iam8bit Exclusive Edition for Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery.

The iam8bit Exclusive Edition, which includes a glow-in-the-dark poster, three Sticker Sheets and the digital soundtrack, is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with Smart Delivery. Regular physical editions (which are also available from retailers) for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with Smart Delivery feature the main game on a cartridge or disc as well as the digital soundtrack.

Into the Pit centers around Oswald, who wishes that his town, and his life, weren’t so boring. That all changes when he explores the ball pit in a rundown pizzeria and finds himself in the past. However, as one might expect, Oswald will encounter something that will have him questioning his wish.

Rather than the usual gameplay from a Five Nights at Freddy’s title, Into the Pit instead is a full-on horror adventure. You’ll travel between time periods, gather clues, and obviously outrun the threat relentlessly hounding you. You’ll need to move fast and stay hidden in order to survive. But be careful—it’s not just your own life that’s on the line. Oswald’s father and children from the past could all meet their end if you don’t save them.
