Untitled Spielberg Sci-Fi Project
“Jurassic Park” director Steven Spielberg and writer David Koepp’s re-teaming on an untitled old-school sci-fi blockbuster film has wrapped production. Koepp confirms filming wrapped roughly three weeks ago, and no official title has been released (despite reports of it being either “The Dish” or “Disclosure”). Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell star in the film which opens June 12th 2026.

Ruins
Miramax has won the screen rights to Australian author Amy Taylor’s second novel “Ruins” with Oscar nominees Vanessa Kirby and Sebastian Stan attached to star and produce/ Scott Free, Linden Entertainment and Aluna Entertainment are backing the project..

The story follows a couple whose affair with a young Greek woman over the course of a summer in Athens threatens to crack their relationship open in a story about privilege and power, desire and intimacy. [Source: Deadline]

Chernin Entertainment
Apple TV+ has closed a new multi-year, first-look feature film deal with Chernin Entertainment (“Ford v Ferrari,” “Planet of the Apes,” “The Greatest Showman”) following previous collaborations on TV series like “See,” “Truth Be Told” and the upcoming Jason Momoa-led “Chief of War”. The plan is to make films together, likely aiming for theatrical release. [Source: Deadline]
