“Reacher” Season 4 Is “Gone Tomorrow”

Jack Reacher author Lee Child’s novel “Gone Tomorrow” will serve as the basis of the upcoming fourth season of “Reacher” on Amazon Prime Video.

Child teased the possibility with a photo posted yesterday on his account, a copy of the premiere episode’s script strategically placed on an empty subway car seat.

Following that, series star Alan Ritchson and Amazon’s official account have confirmed via a posting on Instagram that the book is the source material for the new run, which is headed into production this Summer.

“Gone Tomorrow” is the thirteenth book in the series and begins at 2am on a New York City subway. Reacher spots a woman who seems out of place and appears to be planning a suicide attack.

Before he can get any real answers, the woman takes her own life right in front of him. While the New York Police Department is trying to close the case as soon as possible, Reacher wants to know why the woman shot herself.

Twenty-nine novels have been published in the series, though the chronological order is fairly wild. The 1997 debut novel “Killing Floor” was the basis for the first season, the 2007 eleventh book “Bad Luck and Trouble” was the basis of the second, and the 2003 seventh book “Persuader” was the basis of the third.

Previously, the Tom Cruise movies adapted the ninth book “One Shot” and the eighteenth book “Never Go Back”.

Production on the “Reacher” spin-off series “Neagley” wrapped a week ago with star Maria Sten confirming the news on Instagram. That is expected to air in 2026.
