Splatoon 3 Gets Summer Nights Splatfest and Splatoon 2 Gear
When Nintendo stated new content updates wouldn’t come to Splatoon 3 after September 2024, it did note that Summer Nights Splatfest and other events would still return. Now that’s about to happen worldwide. It returns at 6pm PT/9pm ET on July 11, 2025. We’ll also see four pieces of Splatoon 2 gear come to Splatoon 3 as part of this event. For this Summer Nights Splatfest, the theme is travel. The three sides are traveling by land via car, sea by boat, or flying through the air on a plane. Judging by the order in which they’re listed, Shiver will likely be associated with land, Frye with sea, and Big Man with air. With the four Splatoon 2 pieces of gear heading to Splatoon 3, you’ll need to read the Nintendo News story on the console and click the link in the article to open up the game. Doing so then gives you all four of the items. The Eye of Justice, Fierce Fishskull, Hivemind Antenna, and Jetflame Crest headgear items will all be added to your inventory if you visit during the event period.
