Avianca announces that between June 15 and August 15, 2025, it will offer more than eight million seats and operate nearly 45,000 flights to connect its customers with over 80 destinations in the Americas and Europe.
“Our team is ready to accompany travelers moving during the mid-year holiday season, with a proposal that adapts to different travel preferences and the strongest network we’ve had in our history, reflected in notable seat availability growth in markets such as Brazil (27%), Colombia to and from international destinations (17%), Europe (+11%), and the United States (+10%),” said Carolina Cortés, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Reputation at Avianca.
Among the international destinations recommended by the airline are Havana, London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, as well as more than 15 routes that will be activated during this season to the United States such as Cali-New York, Cartagena-Miami, San Salvador-Orlando, San José-Washington, among others.
Recommendations for a better experience this season:
- Airport Arrival: It is recommended to arrive at least three hours before international flights and two hours before domestic flights.
- Documentation: It is essential to verify the immigration requirements for each destination directly with the official sources before traveling.
- Baggage: It is advised to review the baggage conditions included in the purchased fare. Devices with lithium batteries must be carried exclusively in the cabin for safety reasons.
- Check-in Process: Check-in can be completed 48 hours before the flight (24 hours for flights to or from the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada) through the airline’s digital channels.
- Flight Status: Avianca notifies any changes to itineraries via email, WhatsApp, avianca.com, and its mobile app.
