DMC Network hosts expansive 2025 Exchange across Dubai and Abu Dhabi

The 2025 DMC Network Exchange strengthened its position as a signature must-attend event for global event planners, expanding this year to showcase two bespoke destinations in the wider DMC Network portfolio.

The 2025 event, held June 10-15, kicked off in Dubai and closed in Abu Dhabi, both in the United Arab Emirates. This destination is represented within the DMC Network by Gulf Dunes, which served as the 2025 Exchange host partner.

“The opportunity to bring key DMC Network clients who were invited by our fellow DMC partners across the globe was one that we could not miss – we jumped to make it work,” said Sumaira Isaacs, General Manager of Gulf Dunes.

“This was the first time the DMC Network hosted its Exchange in dual destinations. The UAE, with its deep historical roots matched by a forward-thinking spirit of innovation, was absolutely the right destination to reach that milestone. It’s where modern luxury meets rich tradition – exactly what we showed 2025 Exchange attendees. This also could not have been possible without the generous support of our two key CVB partners, Dubai Business Events and Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau,” Isaacs concluded.

This year’s Exchange focused on the importance of building new international ties, with attendees treated to a range of activities and one-on-one meeting opportunities to make and strengthen industry and in-destination connections.

Highlights included tours of Dubai’s distinct blend of innovative and cultural attractions; visits to the Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future, The Louvre, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan; and five-star hosts Atlantis The Palm, Atlantis The Royal, and The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal.

“Meeting and strengthening connections in a destination that was newer for many of our attendees was incredibly exciting,” said DMC Network Managing Director Aoife Delaney. “DMC Network members are known for the immersive access they give participants during a program and for their deep local destination knowledge. We’re so proud that these talents stood out to everyone who joined us in the UAE.”

Up next for the DMC Network will be IMEX America, with plans already beginning to take shape – including the DMC Network’s signature Tuesday night VIP event, and a reveal of their 2026 Exchange destination.
