Designed to commemorate Thomas Sankara, who was assassinated in the 1980s, the mausoleum in Burkina Faso was built using locally-sourced laterite and clay bricks.
In London, Clerkenwell Design Week took place this week. Among the highlights was an undulating house designed by Alex Chinneck and a 3D-printed "water corridor" by Arthur Mamou-Mani.
