Pulp share awesome disco banger “Got to Have Love,” announce ‘More’ global listening parties
Fans of the band’s disco side — and Jarvis Cocker’s fondness for spelling — will dig this one, it’s a banger. New album ‘More’ is out June 6.

Pulp’s first album in 24 years is out in just two weeks and they’ve now shared a second single from it. Fans of the band’s disco side — and Jarvis Cocker’s fondness for spelling — will dig this one, it’s a banger. He says: “Love is a word I was unable to say until I was approaching 40. I listened to love songs all the time but couldn’t use the word in real life. The words to this song are me having a word with myself about this state of affairs. I gave myself a real talking-to. I have now learnt how to say it whilst keeping a straight face. You’ve got to have love. Oh yes you have.”
Jarvis also directed the video, which makes great use of footage from legendary ’70s Northern Soul club the Wigan Casino. “Wouldn’t you like to be able to dance like this,” Jarvis asks via the video’s titles. “Guess what? You can.” Watch the video below.
New album More is out June 6 and you can preorder it in the BV shop.
Meanwhile, Pulp have announced global listening parties for More, most of which will happen at record stores starting May 29. The only country that hasn’t been announced yet is the US and those get announced May 27. Check out all announced listening parties here.
Pulp will tour for More starting June 7 in Glasgow and play NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on September 11. All dates are below.
