Who will be FAB Airport Chef of the Year? Finalists revealed for Barcelona awards

SPAIN. The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to unveil the next line-up of finalists in the Airport FAB + Hospitality Awards, to be held in Barcelona, Spain on 26 June Airport Chef of the Year.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said, “FAB Chef of the Year puts the spotlight on the creative talents that make our industry at its best a delightful, delicious and experiential element of the travel journey.

“This year’s finalists represent a compelling cross-section of geographies, personalities and culinary philosophies. Each has shown a tremendous commitment to innovation and to raising the standard of airport food & beverage.

“While we would have liked to see more women Chefs nominated, we are otherwise delighted at the world-class calibre of the line-up. The judges are faced with a tremendously challenging task to identify the ultimate winner but isn’t that exactly how it should be in a sector with heady aspirations to take the consumer offer to a new level?”

There are 23 categories in this year’s FAB Awards, which attracted a record-breaking number of entries. There will also be additional special judges’ awards.

In a change from previous years, all finalists will receive a FAB 2025 Order of Merit Award, alongside regional and global winners in some categories.

In certain of the evening’s premier categories, additional awards will be made according to size of airport (by passenger numbers) as well as an overall accolade.
