Hyatt Loyalty Program T&Cs Update June 2025

Hyatt has this week pushed an updated version of its World of Hyatt guest loyalty program T&Cs.

The updated Terms and Conditions address the Playa acquisition, which brings more non-participating hotels into Hyatt’s portfolio.

The following hotels were added to the list of non-participating:

• Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort and Spa
• Now Amber Playa del Carmen
• Seadust Cancun Family Resort
• Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen
• Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana
• Wyndham Alltra Samana

All non-participating hotels:

• Alila Purnama
• El Corazon de Santa Fe
• Dream Phuket
• Lindner Hotel Sylt
• Lindner Hotel Wiesensee
• Kapok Rizhao
• Mumian Hangzhou
• Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta
• Meikles Hotel
• The Barnett, A Hyatt Affiliated Hotel
• Maison Métier, A Hyatt Affiliated Hotel
• The Placencia Resort
• Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort and Spa
• Now Amber Playa del Carmen
• Seadust Cancun Family Resort
• Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen
• Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana
• Wyndham Alltra Samana
• Bahia Principe Resorts
• Cayo Levantado Resort
• Except for those properties specifically described in section (d) below, any Legacy AMR Collection properties (defined below), including, without limitation:

• Hotels and resorts available through Mr & Mrs Smith (unless such hotel or resort is booked directly through Hyatt booking channels or in accordance with the Mr & Mrs Smith Terms)
• Bunkhouse hotels, except as specifically described in subsection (f), below.
• Peri hotels

Conclusion

The Bunkhouse and Peri hotels are expected to become World of Hyatt properties in the coming months, but I’m unsure what will happen with the other hotels.

It’s unusual to see Wyndham hotels on the non-participating list, but I’m not sure if those are owned by Playa or just managed by them.
