Official Trailer for Trippy Sci-Fi 'Daniela Forever' by Nacho Vigalondo

Well Go USA has revealed the official trailer for the indie sci-fi romantic thriller film titled Daniela Forever, the next film by acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Nacho Vigalondo (known for Timecrimes, Extraterrestrial, Colossal). This premiered in the Midnight section at TIFF 2024 last year, then played at the iconic Fantastic Fest, Beyond Fest, Sitges, Trieste, and other festivals. The mesmerizing sci-fi film follows a man as he joins a sleep trial that allows him to rebuild his life with his girlfriend, who recently died in an accident, through the use of lucid dreams. Starring Henry Golding and Beatrice Grannò, along with Aura Garrido, Rubén Ochandiano, and Nathalie Poza. As his lucid dreams bring Daniela back to him, Nicolas becomes obsessed with the fantasy world that he's created and finds that his dreams aren’t as perfect as they seem. This certainly reminds me of The Science of Sleep and Eternal Sunshine. Although the reviews for it are pretty mixed, saying "the film seems to get lost in its narrative."
