Just a heads up on the Marriott promo for an additional 1 night and 1000 points from earlier in the year.

Well for Homes and Villa stays it was supposed to be credited within 6 weeks of the promo ending on 28/4. It was very clear in the Ts&Cs.

They haven’t as usual and it’s impossible to chase through their regular form as you have to submit the name of a marriott property, and the confirmation numbers for HVMB stays aren’t recognised either.

I had to look at the T&Cs of this Spring promotion that was for 1,000 bonus points for each night + bonus elite night credit:

Marriott Bonvoy 1,000 Bonus Points + Extra Elite Qualifying Night For Each Paid Night February 11 – April 28, 2025

“Eligible paid nights at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy are eligible for promotional credit. For eligible paid nights at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, these bonus Points and bonus Elite Night Credits will be posted up to 6 weeks after the promotion earning period ends.”

The T&Cs are clear that these bonus points and elite night credits should have been posted within 6 weeks after this promotion ended, which would have been June 9.

We were in touch with Marriott, who told us the following:

The team expects all eligible ENCs and bonus points from this promotion to be fully processed and posted to accounts shortly.

Conclusion

It is unfortunate that these bonus points and nights have still not been posted to the Homes & Villas stays, as this may affect Bonvoy member status.

Marriott should streamline the posting of these Homes & Villas stays, and there appears to be an issue with these promotions as well.
