TravelX is a travel tech company that helps airlines optimise post-booking revenue and enhance customer flexibility. Its core solution uses machine learning to identify flights likely to sell out and incentivises low-yield passengers to reschedule or sell back their seats in exchange for compensation, freeing up seats for higher-value sales. The solution integrates seamlessly into existing systems, improving operational efficiency, increasing revenue, and enhancing the overall passenger experience through greater flexibility and personalisation.

“TravelX became a Platinum Sponsor of the APEX FTE EMEA / Ancillary & Retailing events to showcase its leadership and innovation in the airline post-booking revenue space,” explains Martín Restrepo, Director of Business Development, TravelX. “The event offers a platform to share proven airline results, engage directly with decision-makers, and build new commercial partnerships. Strategically, TravelX aims to drive awareness of its solutions, gather insights on evolving industry needs, and reinforce its commitment to modernising airline retailing through innovative, data-driven technology.”

Martín Restrepo, Director of Business Development, TravelX: “TravelX became a Platinum Sponsor of the APEX FTE EMEA / Ancillary & Retailing events to showcase its leadership and innovation in the airline post-booking revenue space. The event offers a platform to share proven airline results, engage directly with decision-makers, and build new commercial partnerships.”

As well as being a Platinum Sponsor, TravelX has a Meeting Base at the event, where attendees can expect a hands-on introduction to the TravelX post-booking optimisation platform. “We’ll showcase how airlines can unlock new revenue streams and enhance customer flexibility through dynamic inventory strategies, with real-world results from current airline partners,” says Restrepo. “Our team will be available for live demos, one-on-one consultations, and sharing insights into the future of ancillary retailing. We’re especially excited to highlight how our technology delivers measurable ROI while improving the overall passenger experience.”

TravelX’s solutions are in constant evolution, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to deliver stronger results and greater flexibility for airlines. “We work closely with our partners to unlock new post-booking use cases that drive revenue and improve the passenger experience,” Restrepo shares. “As part of our global expansion, we recently announced a strategic partnership with Cebu Pacific. Our first major deployment in the APAC region, with more airline collaborations set to be revealed soon.”

With the growing demand for personalisation in travel, TravelX leverages machine learning and real-time data to tailor the post-booking experience to individual passengers. It identifies specific passenger profiles and flight dynamics to deliver targeted offers such as compensation for voluntary flight changes or upgrade bundles at the right moment, via the right channel. “This not only helps airlines optimise seat allocation and revenue, but also empowers passengers with greater flexibility and value,” Restrepo explains.

As travel and aviation become more digital and data-driven, TravelX stays ahead by continuously evolving its solutions and incorporating cutting-edge technologies to drive measurable results. It works hand in hand with airline partners to co-create solutions that solve real commercial and operational challenges, unlocking new revenue opportunities and improving passenger experience. “Our agile product development approach, combined with data-rich insights and a strong focus on flexibility, ensures we remain competitive and relevant in a rapidly changing global market,” says Restrepo.

Attendees at the co-located APEX FTE EMEA and Ancillary & Retailing can learn more by visiting the TravelX Meeting Base, where the team will be available for one-on-one discussions and to explore how its solutions can unlock new revenue and flexibility opportunities. “Participating in FTE events offers us a unique opportunity to connect directly with airline leaders, innovators, and partners who are shaping the future of air travel,” Restrepo adds. “What we value most is the open exchange of ideas and the chance to showcase real-world results that drive both revenue and passenger satisfaction. At this year’s APEX FTE EMEA / Ancillary & Retailing, we’re especially excited to highlight how our RmX solution is redefining post-booking optimisation, and to engage in conversations around emerging trends like dynamic bundling, AI-driven personalisation, and new models of traveller flexibility.”
