Goldfield & Banks and Heinemann reveal world-first pop-up for Pacific Rock Flower at Sydney Airport

AUSTRALIA. Goldfield & Banks has launched a high-impact travel retail pop-up with Heinemann Oceania in the Terminal 1 International Departures Beauty Hall at Sydney Airport. It marks the global debut of the Australian luxury fragrance brand’s newest creation, Pacific Rock Flower.

Pacific Rock Flower is the “luminous new sister” to brand’s cult-favourite Pacific Rock Moss, Goldfield & Banks’ first creation almost ten years ago.

The Goldfield & Banks pop-up in partnership with Heinemann Oceanic for Pacific Rock Flower is now a stand-out shopping feature in Sydney Airport Terminal 1

The pop-up houses an immersive retail experience which invites shoppers to explore the full fragrance collection and experience Goldfield & Banks’ world of native botanicals, artisanal craftsmanship and Australian luxury.

Described as a fresh, uplifting scent inspired by the Australian coastline, it blends sparkling aquatic notes with native white florals, creamy woods and “the warmth of golden sands”.

Goldfield & Banks Founder Dimitri Weber (above left) and Heinemann Oceania Head of Category Management Beauty & Fashion Lan-Anh Quenot join stakeholders to launch the pop-up

According to Goldfield & Banks the striking installation “underscores the rising influence of niche fragrances in travel retail”, while the fragrance “evokes barefoot walks along coastal headlands, where the sea breeze mingles with wildflowers in bloom”.

The pop-up’s ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by senior members of Heinemann Oceania’s Senior Category, Partnership & Promotions team, alongside representatives from ANZ distributor for the brand Prestige Brands Australia, and Goldfield & Banks Founder Dimitri Weber.

Weber said, “This is a very special launch for us. Pacific Rock Flower is a tribute to the raw, floral beauty of our coastline – a true olfactory escape. To bring this fragrance to life in partnership with Heinemann, in such a premium and visible way, is a proud milestone for the brand.”

Heinemann Oceania Head of Category Management Beauty & Fashion Lan-Anh Quenot commented, “We are thrilled to launch the new Pacific Rock Flower fragrance at our pop-up space in Sydney Airport.

“This launch is made possible through our strong and trusting partnership with Goldfield & Banks and Prestige Brands Australia, and we are grateful for their collaboration in showcasing this beautiful creation for all our international travellers to discover and take a bit of Australian luxury with them.”

Prestige Brands Australia Business & Marketing Director Jessica Charlesworth said, “We are honoured to bring to life this global-first activation at this scale for the brand, celebrating Australian botanicals on a world-class stage.” ✈
