Shot-on-Video Cult Classic ‘Sledgehammer’ Slashes Onto Blu-ray via Terror Vision

One of the earliest shot-on-video horror movies, Sledgehammer will make its Blu-ray debut via Terror Vision.

This edition is limited to 1,500, with fewer than 800 copies remaining. Scheduled to ship in July, it costs $32.

The 1983 slasher has been newly transferred from a master tape. It comes with a slipcase, soundtrack CD, booklet, 11×17 poster, and postcard, all housed in a rigid box.

No one has dared enter this house for nearly 10 years since a young couple from the valley were brutally murdered by a madman with a sledgehammer. No one… until now.

They would not be alone. There was something evil in the house. The kind of thing no one believes in, yet everyone fears. Something that moves only through the still of the darkest nights, creeps within the shadows of man’s deepest fears and strikes without warning.
