Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Joins GOG PC Preservation Program

GOG updated its Preservation Program catalog to add Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition to the PC game library. It is available alone for $24.99 or in a bundle with the HD Collection that offers the first three games for $44.99. However, due to a launch sale running until July 2, 2025, both options are reduced. The game alone is $7.49, and it is $14.84 for the bundle. Devil May Cry 4 is the installment that introduced Nero to the series, as he’s the main character. After the Order of the Sword Holy Knights Captain Credo sends Nero after Dante following the iconic hero killing the leader of the group. While Dante also appeared as a playable character in the first release of the game, this Special Edition also added Lady, Trish, and Vergil as options and offered more insight into the story. Dark Knight Mode also appears.  The GOG version of the game is DRM-free, as always, and supports Windows 10 and 11. It supports Cloud Saves through the platform. You can also purchase all DLC tied to it, such as the extra costumes for Lady and Trish or paying to unlock modes.  You can get an idea of how this GOG Preservation Program version of the game will look in the trailer below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCmD-1Bte1Y Here’s a trailer for all the June 2025 additions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8zTDH0wHGw&t=5s Since starting the GOG Preservation Program, we’ve seen the the company work with Capcom on a number of titles.
