UPDATE: IHG One Rewards Triple Points Select Brands July 1 – September 30, 2025

IHG is bringing back its promotion, which allows members to earn triple points at select brands for stays between July 1 and September 30, 2025. The offer is valid for members worldwide.

There are three separate offers out for the Americas (access here), EMEA (access here), and Greater China (access here). The valid hotel brands under this offer are different depending on the market where your account is based.

The promotion is valid for stays between July 1 and September 30, 2025, and you can earn an unlimited number of triple points.

I registered for the EMEA version, as the brands on that version are the best fit for my possible IHG stay pattern.

Conclusion

I believe this is the first time we’ve seen a global triple points offer for stays at five different brands, but the valid brands vary depending on the location of your account.

Looking at these three offers, the most suitable one for me would be the European one, as it covers the Crowne Plaza, voco, and Vignette Collection brands.

Here are the terms and conditions of the Americas offer:

3X Unlimited “Collection of Brands” Bonus Points Offer | Terms & Conditions | Americas

To participate in the “3X Unlimited” Promotion (the “Promotion”), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account, must be a resident of North America, Central America, South America or the Caribbean, and must register for the Promotion. Members can pre-register for this Promotion starting June 18, 2025, through June 30, 2025 (the “Pre-Registration Period”). Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion beginning July 1, 2025 and ending on September 30, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Members who did not register during the Pre-Registration Period may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period. A member can only register once. By registering for the Promotion, a member is accepting these Terms & Conditions.

After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn bonus points on qualifying room nights during the Promotion Period at avid hotels, Atwell Suites, EVEN Hotels, Garner and voco. This offer is only available for the listed brands above.

To be a Qualifying Room Night under the Promotion, the room night must fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included. For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate that is at least a total spend of US $30 (or local currency equivalent) per night. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. If more than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of a Qualifying Room Night.

For the 3X Unlimited Promotion, earning “3X” or “3X bonus points” on stays through September 30, 2025 means the total number of regular “base points” and promotional “bonus points” combined will equal three (3) times the base points the member would normally receive just for being an IHG One Rewards member. For example, under the 3X Unlimited Promotion, for a one-night Qualifying Stay with a room rate of $100.00 at an IHG hotel with a 10 points per USD earn rate for base points, the member would earn 1,000 base points (10 points x $100 = 1,000 points) and an additional 2,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 3,000 points. The promotional bonus points under this Promotion are calculated based solely on the base points the member is eligible to earn for a Qualifying Stay just for being an IHG One Rewards member, and any Elite status bonus points or any other bonus or promotional points the member may be eligible to receive for the same stay are not included.
