Fontaines D.C. displayed signs calling for a “free Palestine” and accused Israel of genocide during their set at Primavera Sound 2025.

The Dublin band played at the Parc Del Forum festival in Barcelona on Saturday night (June 7) and during ‘I Love You’ from 2022’s ‘Skinty Fia‘ near the end of the set, a giant Palestinian flag was projected onto the screen behind them and the words “free Palestine” appeared on the screens to the side of the stage.
Frontman Grian Chatten echoed the sentiment during the set, and as they brought the concert to a close with ‘Starburster’ from 2024’s ‘Romance’, another message appeared reading: “Israel is committing genocide – use your voice”.
