Spider-Man: Brand New Day Films In Scotland This Summer – Plus Fantastic Four Main Theme Released

According to a local newspaper, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be filming this Summer in Glasgow, Scotland, plus the main theme for Fantastic Four has been released online. Let’s start with the news about the next Spider-Man film.

According to a report from The Herald Scotland, filming is going to be taking place in and around the City Centre this Summer. We did think Brand New Day was due to begin filming soon, probably this Summer. Therefore, I guess this report confirms it. After all, you don’t want to be filming in Glasgow in Winter.

As per the paper,

‘Now Scotland’s largest city is set to welcome yet another major film production this summer, The Herald can exclusively reveal.

Production crews will take over the city centre to shoot scenes for the next instalment in the Spider-Man franchise.

Spider-Man 4, officially titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will see Tom Holland reprise his role as Spider-Man.

Slated for a July 2026, the long-anticipated movie will be helmed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton, with reports suggesting that Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink has been cast opposite Holland.’

There’s no further information in the article that we don’t already know. Glasgow has been a substitute or NYC and Gotham City in the past. Therefore, I doubt anyone needs to worry about Spidey going on a trip to my homeland in the film.

I really like it. In some ways it’s a little different, and the FF are a little different to other superheroes for me. Therefore, it fits. I mean, it’s not the Avengers or Superman theme’s but it’s hard to become that iconic. Especially prior to the movies release.
