Modern Industrial Furniture's Heavy-Duty Media Cart
This steel Carnegie Media Cart is the antithesis of particle board furniture. The indestructible rolling cabinet features doors faced with perforated steel that allow Wi-Fi and remote control signals to pass through it, so you can tuck your router or receivers within. The rear of the unit has pre-cut holes to run cabling through it. These are handmade in Houston by Jose Garcia, a former tech worker. Dissatisfied with his desk job, Garcia returned to his roots—his father, a metalworker, had taught him to weld from a young age—and began building steel furniture in the 2010s. Garcia went from being a guy selling pieces on Craigslist to having his work featured on HGTV in 2019; today his company, Modern Industrial Furniture, is a going concern. You can see their catalog here.
