Hollow Knight: Silksong fans are expecting news about the long-awaited game to be shared this week.
Hollow Knight: Silksong was first announced back in 2019. Originally the game was set to be an expansion of 2017’s Hollow Knight but developers Team Cherry later turned it into a fully-fledged sequel. However, they missed a planned 2023 release date and updates have been few and far between.
Fans are expecting news about Hollow Knight: Silksong to be shared this week though. Sony are hosting a State Of Play presentation later today (June 4), Summer Games Fest is taking place on Friday (June 6) and there’s an Xbox showcase planned for Sunday (June 8).
Ahead of those showcases, it’s been reported that Team Cherry has been updating the Steam page for Hollow Knight: Silksong, ahead of a potential release date announcement. For the first time since 2019, developers have added a number of files to the backend.
