Our Nintendo Switch 2 unboxing lifts the lid on the latest and greatest handheld
It’s here, it’s Nintendo Switch 2 day! Some of the Pocket Tactics staff have our new consoles in hand, and boy, do they look lovely. They feel lovely. I really like it already, and I haven’t even loaded up a game yet, so let's get into our Nintendo Switch 2 unboxing. Anyway, here’s what you get in the regular Nintendo Switch 2’s package. Upon opening the box, you have your Switch 2 and separate Joy-Cons on the top layer, covered in plastic for protection. I knew how big the Switch 2 was, having held it at a preview, and yet I was still surprised at its size. The next layer features a cardboard divider with an information pamphlet, an HDMI cable, and wrist straps for the Joy-Cons in a small compartment. Taking that out reveals your plug, USB-C cable, and grip to use the Joy-Cons as one controller when detached from the Switch itself. Oh, and of course, your dock. The Switch 2 dock has rounded back corners, which makes for a nice design touch.
