Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
As part of the latest June 2025 State of Play, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is the long rumored remaster of the classic. The game is set to release on September 30, 2025. The newly announced Final Fantasy Tactics remaster will include two version of the classic game. The Enhanced version includes multiple quality of life changes alongside full voice acting. Meanwhile, the Classic version is a faithful recreation of the original PlayStation title released on 1997. As shown in the trailer, Square Enix’s Creative Studio III is involved in the development of the remaster.
