“The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Fall of the House of Usher” star T’Nia Miller has reportedly landed a major role in Marvel Studios’ “Vision” TV series on the Disney+ service.
Deadline broke the news, indicating the British actress is believed to be playing one of the leads alongside Paul Bettany reprising his character last seen in “WandaVision”.
Her role is that of the cunning and powerful Jocasta, a robot woman driven by revenge. In the comics, Jocasta is a robot Ultron builds her to be his bride, but she breaks free and eventually sides with the Avengers.
The new series is thought be set after the events of that show as the all-white and newly born Vision (Bettany) tries to regain his memory and humanity.
The project stalled due to the strikes, but then took on new life when “Star Trek: Picard” Season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas came onboard.
Since then, it has been picking up steam with Miller and Bettany joined by James Spader reprising his voice role of Ultron while Faran Tahir will return to his “Iron Man” role of former Ten Rings terrorist cell leader Raza. Todd Stashwick and Ruaridh Mollica also star.
