SINGAPORE. Travel restaurateur SSP has partnered with Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (part of The Heineken Company) to launch two Heineken World Bars in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2. The openings mark the concept’s debut in Asia.
The bars are located close to the terminal’s Enchanted Garden and Water Lily Garden features.
SPP noted that Heineken is recognised worldwide and well-positioned to appeal to the international customer base at Changi Airport.
The company said, “According to iconography that is ‘never lost in translation’, Changi’s Heineken World Bar will allow travellers to step inside the refreshing World of Heineken and an environment which showcases the brand’s inspiring history, present relevance and confident future.
“Heineken World Bar promises an unforgettable experience, whether passengers are looking for a relaxing drink before their flight or a casual meal with friends or family.”
The bars feature striking picture walls highlighting the famous brand, including a ‘World of Heineken’ word portrait which underscores the brand’s global presence. It is designed to remind visitors that no matter where in the world they drink it, Heineken is brewed to the same signature recipe.
Alongside ice-cold beers, the Heineken World Bars serve a menu of Western dishes, including burgers, pastas and bar snacks.
