“Highest level of exclusivity” – Lufthansa reveals renovated First Class Lounge at Munich Airport
The stylish new look for the 1,000sq m space includes an à la carte restaurant, a buffet section and a revamped bar, plus other premium amenities.

GERMANY. The Lufthansa First Class Lounge at Munich Airport Terminal 2 has reopened following a renovation programme. It brings a stylish new look to the 1,000sq m space.
The top-class facility now includes an extended gastronomic area. Features include an à la carte restaurant, a buffet section and a revamped bar, which Lufthansa said offers “the highest level of exclusivity”.
The lounge also offers amenities such as ‘quiet retreats’, elegant washrooms and well-equipped work areas with printers and photocopiers. There are extensive entertainment facilities with TV areas and a large selection of newspapers and magazines.
The reopened lounge is a key element of what Lufthansa calls “a major premium offensive”. Among other initiatives, guests can now look forward to a renovated First Class check-in area at the airport.
From this summer, the new Lufthansa Allegris First Class in the Airbus A350-900 will fly from Munich to destinations including Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai and Bengaluru.
Features of the First Class area onboard include two individual suites and one Suite Plus, described by Lufthansa as “extraordinary”.
