More Vision Quest AI Casting – Nicole Kidman In Spider-Man – New Black Panther In Doomsday | Barside Buzz

Today’s Marvel Barside Buzz has more Vision Quest AI casting, a Nicole Kidman in Spider-Man rumor and a new Black Panther in Doomsday. As always, pinch of salt with all rumors, though I will state I think our top rumor here is legit. Daniel RPK has been posting casting for various AI turned humanoid roles for Vision Quest. So far this week he’s been backed up by Deadline on the first of these, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta. Alongside a second we covered yesterday for EDITH, we now have another AI role turn into live-action.

Daniel says FRIDAY actress Kerry Condon will now appears in live-action in the role she previously voiced in Iron Man 3. So far that means we have Vision himself, Ultron (James Spader returns), Jocasta, FRIDAY and EDITH. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any other AI we are yet missing, but we’ll see how the story progresses.

Slightly more salt required from the next two which comes from MTTSH.

The insider claims that there is a new Black Panther, outside of Shuri, will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. Given the Multiversal nature of the film, this would not shock me at all. Also would not shock me if this new person ends up becoming the 616 T’Challa or something. That’s if this is a legit rumor, we need to wait and see.

As for the next rumor from MTTSH. She claims that Nicole Kidman is in contention for the role of the female villain in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Now, I’m not gonna lie, this movie’s rumors have been many and at times contradictory. I won’t go over it all, but we have many insiders claiming the main villain will be female. However, we also have what could be leaks saying the main antagonist is actually Hulk, with other villains like Scorpion and Tarantula in the mix.

It kinda feels like physicists struggle to align General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics. Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea, we have two lines of competing leaks/rumors and the twain do not seem to match. Maybe a piece of information will arise which will enlighten us, but for now, sorry.

Kidman would be a good villain, she’s done it before though never in a big franchise film. However, let’s wait and see, sometimes the biggest claims are the ones I find least believable that they’ve gotten out.  I’ll keep an eye for how many of these rumors pan out.
