SSP delivers fresh dining experience to Vilnius International Airport with Upper Crust
Located in Terminal 4, the opening marks SSP’s debut outlet in Lithuania, an important step in its Baltic expansion strategy.

LITHUANIA. Travel restaurateur SSP has unveiled Upper Crust at Vilnius International Airport, marking the first of six planned food outlets that will roll out progressively through 2026.
Located in Terminal 4, the opening marks SSP’s debut in Lithuania, an important step in its Baltic expansion strategy.
Aside from Upper Crust, SSP will open two of its own coffee and bakery brands, Ritazza and Soul + Grain. Additional dining venues set to launch at the airport include Bar & Bistro – Le Grand Comptoir and Factory Bar and Kitchen.
The move draws on SSP’s established operations in Tallinn since 1998 and its extensive experience across the Nordics, where it has been a leading airport F&B operator since the 1960s.
Offering expansive views of the apron, the bakery serves grab-and-go products for travellers on the move. It is the airport’s first brand to feature classic baguettes, introducing a new option for Vilnius Airport passengers.
In addition, the menu will balance the brand’s globally popular offerings with local tastes, including a pastry range developed in collaboration with local producers.
SSP Finland and Baltics Managing Director Elena Heiska said: “At SSP, we have considerable experience with operating in a diversity of international markets, serving passengers at travel locations large and small across continents. I’m very proud of our team here in Vilnius for bringing this outstanding new offer to passengers at this important airport.”
Lithuanian Airports Chief Commercial Officer Gintarė Norvilaitė-Tautevičė added: “SSP was appointed to operate food and beverage outlets at our airport following a very rigorous tender process and we are very pleased to be working with a global operator with an outstanding international track record for the quality of its service and food.
“Upper Crust is a well-established name that has been performing strongly in airports across the world, and we’re glad it will be augmenting the mix of offers at Vilnius. As part of our long-term plan to enhance the passenger experience as well as further develop our commercial revenues, we are certain it will be a very valuable addition to our fabulous new terminal.”
