EssilorLuxottica and Tasa Meng unveil multi-brand eyewear store at Taoyuan International Airport

ASIA PACIFIC. EssilorLuxottica has partnered with Tasa Meng to open a multi-brand eyewear outpost at Taoyuan International Airport, Terminal 2, expanding its footprint in Asia Pacific travel retail.

The experiential retail concept brings together a curated portfolio of EssilorLuxottica’s leading eyewear brands under one roof including Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada, Miu Miu, Burberry, Versace and Coach among others.

Catering to a wide spectrum of consumer needs and preferences, the offer spans sport-performance frames, Asian-fit styles and luxury fashion eyewear at multiple price points.

A key highlight of the activation is the Ray-Ban x Scuderia Ferrari Racing Simulator – a travel retail first for Taoyuan Airport. This engaging in-store feature invites travellers to step into the world of Formula 1 racing, offering an adrenaline-fuelled experience that amplifies brand engagement while driving footfall.

A Ray-Ban x Scuderia Ferrari Racing Simulator is a stand-out element in the multi-brand concept which offers sunglasses from Ray-Ban, Miu Miu, Prada and more

The installation blends immersive digital interaction with premium product discovery, underscoring EssilorLuxottica’s commitment to elevating the eyewear category through innovation, experience and retail excellence.

Tasa Meng Corporation General Manager Gary Chau said: “Our goal with this outpost is to create a high-impact retail space tailored to the evolving behaviours of today’s travellers. With limited time and high expectations, passengers value both product diversity and immersive experiences. By housing multiple premium brands in one location and integrating engaging touchpoints, we’ve built a destination that aligns commercial opportunity with consumer intent.”

“This project allowed us to bring our brand universe to life in a truly dynamic way,” added EssilorLuxottica Regional Director APAC Travel Retail Gianmarco Montesano.

“Beyond showcasing a wide-ranging portfolio, the outpost invites travellers to connect with our brands on a deeper level — whether through tailored fittings or immersive features like the Ray-Ban x Ferrari simulator. It’s a strategic expression of how we see the future of eyewear retail: bold, experiential, and deeply customer centric.” ✈
