MIDDLE EAST. ARI-Middle East CEO Rob Marriott (pictured) has decided to resign from the business after six years, effective immediately.
The highly regarded executive has also resigned from the MEADFA Presidency and Board.
ARI CEO Ray Hernan commented, “We would like to thank Rob for his dedication and commitment during his time with the business, both as ARI-ME CEO and formerly as General Manager of Muscat Duty Free. We wish Rob every success in his future endeavours.”
Nuno Amaral will assume the role of ARI-ME CEO based in Bahrain, effective immediately, in conjunction with his role as Chief Operations Officer across ARI’s global estate.
Amaral previously held the role of ARIME CEO from 2017 to 2019. He will also replace Marriott as a member of the MEADFA Board and is committed to supporting the organisation in delivering on its many priorities.
Marriott was elected President of MEADFA earlier this year, meaning an election will need to take place following his resignation.
