‘M3GAN 2.0’ Gets Popcorn Bucket and Drink Cup Topped With M3GAN Figurine at Regal Theaters

Alamo Drafthouse kicked off the morning with the reveal of their M3GAN 2.0 collectible popcorn bucket, a replica of the killer doll’s head that quite literally opens up to reveal handfuls of buttery popcorn inside. It’s no doubt going to end up being the coolest theater collectible for this year’s horror sequel, but Regal will also be offering up their own M3GAN treats.

The M3GAN 2.0 Collectible Combo at Regal theaters this Summer will include a popcorn container topped with a fierce M3GAN figurine as well as a matching drink cup.

The theater chain will also be serving up the special “M3GAN’s Peach Protocol” cocktail (21+ only), which is a pink peach whiskey sour garnished with a lemon slice.

M3GAN 2.0 slays into theaters on June 27 from Universal.

Director Gerard Johnstone and writer Akela Cooper are back for the follow-up to their 2023 film along with producers James Wan of Atomic Monster and Jason Blum of Blumhouse.

Two years after M3GAN, a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous rampage and was subsequently destroyed, M3GAN’s creator Gemma has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady, now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma’s overprotective rules.

Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia, the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia’s self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around…

With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match.
