For those of you who may not know, Hideo Kojima is a visionary Japanese video game designer, director, producer, and writer, renowned for creating the iconic Metal Gear series and for his innovative, cinematic, and often genre-bending approach to interactive storytelling.He's also famous for speaking his mind on X about movies he loves and hates. He's written about Madame Web, Bond, and many more films. It's obvious he's a fan of going to the movies and of cinema itself. Kojima continued, "This wasn't a film about Ethan Hunt saving the world from the threat of digital domination – it was a film about Tom Cruise, putting his life on the line in a desperate struggle to save cinema itself, which is slowly vanishing from the world."Kojima finished with, "It was the movie of a man who lives and breathes film. I still want to see him keep making the impossible possible. I hope this series continues. At 61, I'm proud to be a follower of Tom, who's 62."This is high praise from the guy behind some of the coolest and most visually interesting video games of all time.
