Amazon Prime Video has announced an August 27th premiere date for “Terminal List: Dark Wolf,” the upcoming prequel spin-off to the Chris Pratt-led “The Terminal List” series adaptation of the Jack Carr novel of the same name.
The show will air three episodes on that date, with the remainder releasing weekly until September 24th.
The series sees the return of Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch as James Reece and Ben Edwards respectively from the original 2022 series, with Pratt much more in a supporting role this time.
‘Dark Wolf’ unfolds five years prior to the events of “The Terminal List” and focuses on Taylor Kitsch’s Ben Edwards as he goes from life as a SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator. It explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.
Also joining them are Tom Hopper (“Black Sails”) as Navy SEAL Raife Hastings from the books, whilst Luke Hemsworth (“Westworld”) plays a self-obsessed CIA contractor.
The series is co-created and executive produced by author Jack Carr and showrunner David DiGilio. A second season of the main “The Terminal List” series, with Pratt returning to lead position, began filming in early March.
