New Trailer: Marvel Studios’ “Ironheart”

Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for its TV series adaptation of the “Ironheart” comics which is executive produced by “Sinners” and “Creed” director Ryan Coogler.

Arriving nearly three years after it began shooting, Disney is touting this as a six-episode event series with the first three episodes debuting June 24th. No word yet on the release plan for the other three episodes.

Actress Dominique Thorne reprises her role of brilliant teenager Riri Williams which she first played in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. The series follows Williams who built her own version of the Iron Man suit in an MIT dorm.

Set after the events of that film, Riri returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka ‘The Hood’ (Anthony Ramos).

Alden Ehrenreich as Joe McGillicuddy, Lyric Ross as Natalie Washington, Matthew James Elam as Xavier Washington, Anji White as Ronnie Williams, Manny Montana as John, Shea Couleé as Slug and Sacha Baron Cohen in an unspecified role widely rumored to be Mephisto.
