Ridley Scott Teases Western In The Works, Wants To Eventually Tackle Pirate & Musical Films

Ridley Scott has been quite the impressive filmmaker on the sheer volume of projects he’s been able to accomplish over the decades, and isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as he has a new sci-fi movie on the way with “The Dog Stars.” In a recent interview, Scott reveals he’s inching closer to making a Western after trying for ages to put one together in the past. Speaking with Collider, Scott said he has an intention to make a Western (he had long attempted a feature adaptation of Cormac McCarthy‘s “Blood Meridian” before it ultimately landed on the lap of John Hillcoat) after securing the rights to an unnamed script based on a novel.
