L’OCCITANE en Provence introduces limited-edition Almond Shimmering Body Oil

L’OCCITANE en Provence has launched a limited-edition Almond Shimmering Body Oil in travel retail and select domestic markets.

The Almond Shimmering Body Oil offers a nourishing formula enriched with sustainably sourced sweet almond oil.

The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula is designed to soften skin and impart a subtle golden shimmer, enhanced by a warm gourmand almond scent.

Consumer tests showed a 100% satisfaction rate in smoothness, with 97% noting an instant glow and 94% reporting a long-lasting, satin-like finish. The product is vegan-friendly, suitable for all skin types, and presented in a 100ml format.

This launch complements the wider Almond Body Care range, a cornerstone of L’OCCITANE en Provence’s bath and body portfolio. The collection includes the brand’s hero Almond Shower Oil, Almond Milk Concentrate, Almond Supple Skin Oil and Almond Hand Cream – all formulated with omega-rich, vitamin E-infused almond oil.

At the heart of the collection is a story of sustainability and Provençal heritage. For more than three centuries, almond producer Jean-Pierre Jaubert’s family has cultivated almonds on the Valensole plateau in Provence.

Since partnering with L’OCCITANE, Jaubert’s family tradition has since transformed into a sustainable, biodiverse almond farming business using only organic fertilisers and regenerative agricultural practices.

Additionally, through its membership in France Amande, L’OCCITANE en Provence is contributing to the replanting of 2,000 hectares of almond trees in France.
